Stewart Fletcher

What you see here represents only a fraction of my life's work. I have been working as an artist for over 35 years and have created a substantial body of work and continue to do so. I often describe myself as a Contemporary Artist using traditional mediums and techniques. I am concerned with the biology of seeing, with ideas, concepts and innovation. I am known for my profound love of the human figure. My interests and ideas have gone in many directions in my quest to innovate throughout my career. It is not only the subject or theme that interests me but also the exploration of both technique and the materials that stimulate me creatively.
