About Rafael Vindigni

Born in Cantaura (Venezuela) in 1978. He lives most of his life in Modica (Rg) in Sicily, until 2007 when he moved to Florence and then in Calenzano (Fi). Start taking an interest in the art world, and final technical studies he enrolled at the Fine Arts Academy in paint course, initiating research in Ragusa and then moved to Florence, where he completed his studies with a thesis on the "Fantastic Engravings". Back in Sicily participated in several group and solo exhibitions, working with public institutions and galleries. Moving to Florence contribute to the achievement of the journal "Il Malpensante", then together with other experts in the field of art founded the cultural association Psike, of which is still president, caring and exposing in the various events held. Also for its association blog, writing some articles and interviews on various contemporary artists.

2004-2005 Baccalaureate Art, at the Art School of Modica. Ragusa

2000–2002 / University of Florence - Academic Diploma of Fine Arts, with a score of 108/110. Thesis in the field of engraving entitled “Engraving Fantastic (Le Incisioni Fantastiche)”. Florence

1997–2000 Attended the Academy of Fine Arts “Mediterranea”. Ragusa

1992–1997 Baccalaureate technique at the Technical Institute for Surveyors L. B. Alberti at Modica. Ragusa

Nato a Cantaura (Venezuela) nel 1978. Ha vissuto la maggior parte della sua vita a Modica, in Sicilia, fino al 2007 quando si trasferisce definitivamente a Firenze. Inizia ad appassionarsi al mondo artistico, e finiti gli studi tecnici si iscrive all'Accademia di Belle Arti - sezione pittura - dove conclude gli studi con una tesi riguardante le “Incisioni Fantastiche”. A Firenze contribuisce alla realizzazione della rivista Il Malpensante; successivamente, insieme ad altri esperti del settore artistico, fonda l'associazione culturale Psike
