Maga Smolik

Psychological education seems to be the key to her paintings, sometimes lyrical and harmonious, but always full of conscious debate and narration about current trends of social and cultural taboos. Penetrating observation of surrounding world, leads her to the symbolic dialoques with the viewers, during which she likes to reject the obviousness in favor of secrets, what is unsaid... She bases on contrasts and does not avoid anything what is in human nature. That's why, knowingly juxtaposes the aesthetics of perception with what in a man is uncertain, blurred, sometimes without borders and morality. 

Education:

I studied psychology (PhD), art grafics and painting (Academy of Fine Art - Lodz in PL) and management.
