Relazione sull'anarchismo in Estonia
Che succede in Estonia? Alcuni mesi fa abbiamo creato un sito web,
PunaMust (tradotto, RossoNero). L'obiettivo era di unire gli anarchici e
creare un movimento anarchico in Estonia. Siamo ancora agli inizi ma
facciamo progressi, anche se lentamente. Una ventina di persone di tutto
l'Estonia (soprattutto a Tartu e Tallinn) partecipano attivamente al
movimento, e circa 100 persone partecipano ai dibattiti sul nostro forum
in internet.
Circa una settimana fa abbiamo dovuto traslocare ad un alto server in
seguito ad un aumento del traffico sul sito (c'erano alcuni filmati e
registrazioni mp3 sull'anarchismo e sul movimento "no-global").
Purtroppo abbiamo perso tutti i dati del forum e piano piano ci stiamo
riprendendo: ci vuole solo tempo perché gli utenti del vecchio forum si
iscrivino a quello nuovo).
Alcune azioni:
L'8 aprile abbiamo partecipato ad una manifestazione contro la violenza poliziesca a Tallinn. C'erano circa 150 manifestanti, maggiormente giovani punk.
Il Primo Maggio abbiamo fatto volantinaggio di materiale contro il consumerismo davanti ad alcuni centri commerciali di Tallinn e Tartu.
Il 4 maggio eravamo opsiti del talkshow "Kahvel" sulla rete TV3 (si tratta di uno dei più seguiti talkshow del paese), dove abbiamo parlato di anarchismo e della nostra organizzazione.
Il 15 maggio abbiamo fatto un'azione congiunta con il gruppo ciclistico verde, Prussakov, per protestare contro l'abuso del suolo pubblico da parte dell'azienda privata di sicurezza, Fack, che usa una delle piazze più importanti di Tallinn come parcheggio. Abbiamo occupato il parcheggio legalmente, comprando biglietti e "parcheggiando" le bici e delle piante per un'intera giornata. L'azione ha attirato l'attenzione dei media, anche in modo positivo. Dopo, siamo andati via senza pagare i biglietti, ma non credo che ci siano state accuse nei nostri confronti.
Lunedì 29 maggio abbiamo organizzato a Tartu una serata cinematografica gratis sul movimento antiglobalizzazione in una delle grandi aule all'Università di Tartu.
C'è stata anche un corso di "filosofia anarchica" presso l'Università di Tartu durante la primavera (grazie al docente Dott. Paul McLaughlin, in visita) e alcuni membri del nostro movimento ci hanno partecipato. Io personalmente ho fatto una relazione orale sull'anarchismo post strutturalista per quel corso.
All'inizio di luglio ci sarà una carovana in bici contro il G8 che attraverserà l'Estonia e stiamo cercando di organizzare campeggi per i partecipanti, oltre ad una giornata di informazione sul G8 e sul movimento "antiglobalizzazione" a Tartu.
La maggior parte degli estoni non vogliono sentire nulla sul "socialismo", ma piano piano la situazione sta cambiando e noi facciamo del tutto perché continui a cambiare. Non c'è alcuna vera tradizione anarchica o socialista (antiautoritaria) in Estonia, perciò abbiamo dovuto iniziare proprio dal principio. C'è molto lavoro da fare a causa dei pregiudizi negativi sul "socialismo" e su qualsiasi cosa "di sinistra". Ma siamo fiduciosi che le cose si possono cambiare: sappiamo che ci vuole tempo e molta energia, ma credo che avremo in Estonia tra circa 2 o 3 anni una rete anarchica vera e funzionante.
Nel nostro movimento di PunaMust, l'ala "collettivista" o "socialista" è in maggioranza. Tuttavia, riconosciamo l'importanza delle libertà individuali e non siamo disposti a sacrificarle al nome del "collettività" o del "socialismo". L'autentico socialismo deve rispettare la libertà dell'individuale.

INDUSTRY of the ORDINARY | 7-10PM | Lower-Level North | Industry of the Ordinary is a two-person conceptual art collaborative, made up of Chicago-based artists and educators Adam Brooks and Mathew Wilson. Their work is usually performative or sculptural, often incorporating audience participation and interaction.
Anonymous Boh is an Estonian curator, printmaker, and performance artist who, with non-stop world tours, performances, exhibitions, and publications, has created one of the most representative, significant, timely and transformative art movements in all of history. As Ring Master, Boh has become the Wild Bill Hickok, the P.T. Barnum, the Alfred Jarry, the Tristan Tzara, the Ezra Pound, the Orson Welles of our Era. We have entered The Apocalypse, The Storm. Boh, implementing all The Arts via NON GRATA's Diverse Universe global performances, reveals to us not only where we presently stand in The Storm but he also conjures visions of our soon to be realized post-apocalyptic absurdly and playfully tormented kaleidoscopic landscapes.
Peeter Allik [b 1966, Estonia] started exhibiting surrealistic oil paintings in the second half of the eighties, and in the nineties became an accomplished printmaker. His works often display a grotesque sense of dislocated reality. Allik graduated from Tartu University. In 1997 and was awarded the first laureate of Ado Wabbe Prize and in 2002 won the Gran Pri on VIII International Biennale of the Baltic States in Kaliningrad.

Hasso Krull is not quite free of journalistic sins either. Even he has occasionally felt the need to explain ‘his idea’ via that medium. To express his own political programme, as it were. If an anarchist can have a programme, that is. Besides being perhaps the clearest and purest winter poet in Estonia, Hasso might easily be the clearest and purest anarchist in Estonia as well. The more so that he does not at all correspond to the image of an anarchist. I have never seen him dressed in black. He does not belong to any anarchist association or anything like that. He is far too anarchistic for that. Like everyone who is something seriously and not just to seem interesting, he looks like a perfectly ordinary human being. Fernando Pessoa has a remarkable character, a banker-anarchist. He is simultaneously a banker like other bankers, and more of an anarchist than other anarchists. Hasso Krull could be called an anarchist of the suburbs, of a district of ‘private residential houses’, as it was known in his younger days. An anarchist-conservative. His life and poetry will perhaps always be connected with the quiet and green Tallinn suburb called Nõmme, resembling the bourgeois idyll of the thirties.
