to Sòfia, Bulgaria for Mira Nedyalkova
Feel
blessed to have been photographed by such an amazing visionary artist
as Mira Nedyalkova, whose incredibly touching photography I hugely
admire. She is a truly sensitive and strong woman, one of the most kind
and open minded person I've ever met for sure and her photography speaks
for her.
It was such an honour pose for her, I have no clue how I can explain
this experience. Words really cannot reach my feelings now. She creates
so powerful and timeless images, that goes deeper than you think. She
really captures the soul of people, she does, and she just reads you,
through her own nightmares, dreams, fears, pain and all in a really
humbly, delicate, mentally erotic and feminine way.She doesn't shot just beauty faces. She goes way deeper.
And I suppose this must be art; pure, passionate, disinterested, a mature one. Not eager to please and complaisant. And I said enough. I've just realized. It's all about the personal way you use photography as a own language, like poetry.
Thank you Mira for leaved me a new prospective, and for learned me more than being just a pretty face. (and I don't even have one so that's not the point at all).
- Posing underwater was a unique surreal dreamlike experience. There is no mask, no fiction, make up melts away and the reality comes up, there is just you and your feelings. Water doesn't lie, she is pure, like Mira's photography.
(Sorry if the video it's not well made; it's just my shaky but happy memories.)
